Joyeuse - Sword of Charlemagne

Purported to be the sword of Charlemagne. Its actual date is disputed, with most apparently placing it between the 11th and 13th centuries.

The sword was traditionally used in the coronation of French kings. The first recorded usage in this manner is for the coronation of Philip the Bold in 1270.
